1. What gave you the inspiration to start writing for Tattooed Tealady?
I started writing Tattooed Tealady after a friend introduced me to beauty blogs. After reading a few for myself it seemed like the perfect way to share my own passion and love for beauty, and so Tattooed Tealady came to be!
2. Let us in on your top 3 spring beauty tips...
Tip 1: Always wear SPF, even if it doesn't look like a hot sunny day outside; it's important to wear SPF all year round to protect your skin.
Tip 2: Remember to moisturise from tips to toes; our bodies need moisturising just as much as our faces, so remember to apply moisturiser to keep skin soft and nourished, even your feet!
Tip 3: Keep hydrated; I always make sure to drink the recommended 2 litres of water a day, and if I'm out and about I always have a bottle of water in my bag for on-the-go. Keeping hydrated is one of the most important things you can do to keep your body - and mind - happy, and a hydrated body does wonders for your skin, nails and hair!
3. What has been your favourite product from the Bee Good range so far, and what would you like to see from us in the future?
My favourite product from the Bee Good range so far has to be the Vanilla & Honey Lip Balm. It has a lovely consistency and delicious scent, a super easy way to keep lips softer and hydrated. In the future I'd love to see Bee Good create a face mask. I love giving myself at-home facials, so it'd be lovely to add a Bee Good mask into the mix!
4. Describe a day in the life of the Tattooed Tealady...
I juggle writing Tattooed Tealady around working full time, so my days always start early and end quite late! When I wake up in the mornings, after cleansing and popping on my morning skincare products, I settle down to write a couple of blog posts ready to go live on Tattooed Tealady. Once the blog is updated I get ready for work, which takes up my afternoons and evenings. As soon as work is finished the first thing I do is indulge in a pampering night-time cleanse and every two days I'll do a face mask too, to give my skin a real pamper. Once my night-time skincare is on it's time to settle down to an evening of replying to comments left by my lovely readers over on Tattooed Tealady, and catching up with both bloggers and readers on Twitter. Reading is a daily must for me, so when it comes to bedtime I like to make a soothing bedtime tea and get stuck in to a good book.
5. What are the memories you cherish most from your blogging career?
Blogging has provided me with some incredible opportunities. My most memorable experiences would be the blogger meet-ups I have organised in both Nottingham and London, which was a fantastic way to meet other bloggers from around the UK, getting to meet the creators behind some of my favourite brands at events and being treated by Birchbox UK to seeing The Nutcracker at Christmas at The Royal Opera House, my first ever ballet experience!
6. If you had to offer one piece of blogging advice, what would it be?
If I could give one piece of blogging advice to anyone thinking of starting their own blog, it would be to always stay true to yourself. New blogs are created every single day and it can be easy to get swept up in being just another number in the blogosphere. Always remember why you started your blog, and that your blog is an extension of you - be true to who you are and what you love, don't be afraid to let your personality shine through!
