Since we officially launched Bee Good, we've been overwhelmed by the positive response from beauty bloggers across the UK. We love reading all the feedback and suggestions and we thought it would be interesting to share with you some behind the scenes snippets on some of the leading UK beauty bloggers.
This month we're introducing a 'guest blog' in which we'll host an informal chat with a beauty blogger. First up is Rachel from BeautyQueenUK.co.uk - thanks Rachel and welcome to the Bee Good hive!
1. What gave you the inspiration to start your blog?
I have always loved to write reviews about products that I have used, liked, disliked and really really disliked. I actually have accounts on two Social Shopping websites, where consumers like myself, write the product reviews for people to read. Then, a few of my friends started blogging and I never really thought it would be for me, but it was suggested I give it a go and see what it is like. Beautyqueenuk was born out of my love for all things beauty related, not because I am a beauty or a queen, though I would quite like to be!
2. What has been your favourite Bee Good product so far?
My favourite Bee Good product to date is the Honey and Wild water mint 3-in-1 Cleanser. I love how instantly refreshing and cooling it is as soon as it comes into contact with the skin, it contains no nasties to irritate my skin and most importantly, it removes dirt, grime and really hard to remove make-up to leave my skin feeling refreshed and clean.
3. What products would you like to see from Bee Good in the future?
I would love to see Bee Good enter the world of bath and shower products and possibly a candle, the scent of the lip balm is stunning and would make for an amazing candle!
4. What is your favourite thing about the blogging community?
My favourite thing about the blogging community is the interaction and meeting new people, whom in turn introduce you to new products. Since I started blogging I have been so lucky to meet so many wonderful people whether they are other bloggers, lovely PR ladies and misters, even brand executives and creators.
5. What is your number 1 beauty tip?
My number 1 beauty tip is to drink water. I know it is obvious but it is just so important and the difference it makes to your skin is amazing. I always drink at least 8 glasses of water a day and it was a tip given to me a few years ago by a leading skincare expert.
