A few years ago, Caroline found a great crochet pattern to make some very cute looking bees. They are extremely easy to make so perfect for beginners. Being great fans of all things bees, Caroline has made a few for fun which we've used to create more interest on our stands at markets, fairs and events.
Our woollen friends are about 2" long and drew lots of interest with visitors to the Bee Good stand picking them up thinking they were for sale. We gave away a couple here and there, and this led to Caroline making a basketful of our friendly bees to be sold from the stand alongside our award winning skincare products. They have sold out at every event we attend so we have also recruited my daughter and her friend to help out to keep up with the demand!
The original pattern was created by Janet and can be found on her great blog called yellow pink and sparkly which is full of great crochet and knitting patterns. The pattern and instructions to make these little cuties can be downloaded here. Give it a go! With Christmas just around the corner, they'd make perfect stocking fillers!
