We had a great day today filming with ITV1's Countrywise programme, talking about bees and the state of beekeeping in the UK.  We were at one of our our local Bee Farmers' (Field's Honey Farm) apiaries not far from Stonehenge on Salisbury Plain with Elsa, Ian Homer and Robert Field being interviewed by the very lovely Liz Bonnin. She was great to work with and keen to understand the current problems and challenges impacting our British bees and what we might be able to do to help them.

Robert's bees were wonderfully docile and well-behaved, allowing us to get very close to the hives without the need to wear veils. We also sampled some of his honey straight from the comb which tasted absolutely fabulous!

A short video clip of the program can be seen here.
